Fireworks and ME

Not all dogs and humans are created equal. Some dogs are afraid of fireworks while others are not. My humans did not know whether I become a nervous wreck or not when it comes to fireworks. I am glad they are aware of the possibility so they proactively made sure I get used to a lot of noises and that includes fireworks.

My humans are all technophiles, from the littlest to the eldest. So it is not a surprise that they used Amazon’s Alexa to get me used to certain sounds.

They started with quiet volume just enough for me to be curious and get used to it. They then increase the volume incrementally.

And it worked! I got used to it now and I can even walk around and watch fireworks happening. Not very close though, that’d be stupid.
